Wild Ride!

It’s been a wild ride since I self-published my first novel The High Road Home more than two years ago. A few months later, I found myself in the position of couples who fail to have a baby and adopt, only to find themselves pregnant. My agent called: “Are you sitting down? You’d better sit down.” She had placed my next novel Into The Storm, landing a contract based on its strength for a three-book series, Cameron’s Pride, with Harlequin Heartwarming. And with a nice advance for an unknown author. Imagine, being paid for writing! Sharing my work beyond the limits of friends and family – heady stuff! I was delighted and then terrified. Write two more books, and on deadline? The first novel threw me a lifeline.
